Your labs.
Your wearable. One picture.

A ferritin of 21 is normal. A ferritin of 21 alongside three weeks of falling HRV is a reason to act. Aide bridges wearable telemetry, 31 blood biomarkers, and AI plate nutrition into one daily readiness brief.

Why did my recovery score drop despite 8h of sleep?
Aide: Sleep duration was normal, but deep sleep was down 22% (52 min). Correlated with your 19-day HRV drift and ferritin of 21 ng/mL, this points to subclinical iron insufficiency impacting overnight oxygen delivery. • Based on Mayo & Endocrine Society intervals

The gap

Normal is a wide range. Optimal is not.

Every lab report in the world scores you against a reference interval built to catch disease. Below that ceiling and above that floor, the page says nothing at all — and that is exactly where most people spend their lives.

Ferritin, adult female

Laboratory reference Evidence-based optimal Your result
21 You are here

What the report says. 21 ng/mL clears the standard lower bound (15–200). No asterisk, no flag, no follow-up — the number is inside the interval, so the lab has nothing to add.

What Aide says. 21 sits well under the optimal band (50–100 ng/mL) associated with athletic stamina, and your HRV has fallen for nineteen straight days. Two unremarkable numbers that are worth discussing with a clinician together.

What it does

Two streams of evidence, read as one.

Your wearable knows how your body is behaving. Your blood work knows what it is made of. Neither one is worth much without the other.

01 · Telemetry

Every day your watch was already recording.

Heart-rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep stages, steps and active energy, read straight from Apple Health — then baselined, so a number only surfaces when it has moved away from your own normal.

  • Rolling personal baselines, not population averages
  • Trends measured in weeks, where the signal actually lives
  • Nothing to wear, log or charge that you weren't already

02 · Blood work

Photograph the printout. Keep the meaning.

Upload a lab PDF or photograph the page. Aide extracts every biomarker it recognises, converts the units, and scores each one against both the laboratory interval and the tighter band the literature associates with better outcomes.

  • 31 biomarkers across iron, metabolic, lipid, thyroid and liver panels
  • Units normalised automatically, whichever lab ran the test
  • Sex-specific intervals applied where they actually differ

03 · The intersection

The part no single report can tell you.

One number in isolation is a data point. The same number sitting underneath three weeks of drifting telemetry is a question worth asking. Aide looks for where the two streams disagree, and writes it down in a sentence you can take to an appointment.

  • Statistical associations found in your own data, not a cohort's
  • A morning brief that leads with what changed
  • Findings you can hand to a clinician, in their language

Finding

Iron stores at the bottom of the reference range, alongside a sustained drop in heart-rate variability and a shorter average sleep. Worth raising at your next appointment.

04 · Smart Nutrition

Snap your meal. See the cellular impact.

Calorie apps treat food as a generic ledger. Aide reads your plate through vision AI, breaks down macronutrients and sodium, and immediately matches the fuel against today's recovery strain and blood biomarkers.

05 · Clinical Intelligence

Answers grounded in physiology, not search ads.

When your wearable and lab tests speak the same language, you can ask real questions. Powered by Gemini and calibrated against published literature, Aide explains complex interactions in clear, doctor-ready sentences.

Aide Clinical Assistant Evidence Grounded
Why is my HRV drifting down over the last 19 days?
Your wearable shows a 14% drop in RMSSD alongside a 22% reduction in deep restorative sleep. Correlated with your August 14th ferritin result (21 ng/mL — in conventional range but below the 50–100 longevity optimal), this suggests cellular oxygen delivery debt may be impeding autonomic recovery after workouts. What we're building toward

The report that finally read like it was about you.

“I'd had the same ‘all normal’ PDF three years running. This was the first thing that put it next to my sleep.”

“I photographed a printout in the car park and had the whole panel scored before I got home.”

How Aide Compares

The difference between tracking data and understanding it.

Most apps trap you in a single silo — either numbers on a PDF or steps on a watch. Aide reads the entire physiological picture together.

How it works

Five steps, and four of them are ours.

The only work that falls to you is handing over the report. Everything after that happens before you next open the app.

  1. STEP 01

    Connect

Grant read access to Apple Health. Five streams, nothing else, revocable from Settings at any time.

  2. STEP 02

    Upload

Drop in a lab PDF, photograph a printout, or import a result straight from your inbox.

  3. STEP 03

    Extract

Every recognised biomarker is pulled out, converted to a canonical unit, and kept with its source report.

  4. STEP 04

    Correlate

Each value is scored against both bands, then read against the telemetry from the weeks around the draw.

  5. STEP 05

    Brief

You get a short morning brief that leads with what changed — and stays quiet when nothing did.

Privacy

Your health data stays yours.

Blood work is the most sensitive record most people will ever own. We treat it that way: no brokers, no ad networks, no third-party analytics sitting on top of your results.

Scoped access

Read-only on five Apple Health streams. Nothing written back, and you can revoke it from Settings.

No resale

Your records are never sold, shared or brokered — not to insurers, not to advertisers, not to anyone.

Full export

Every extracted value stays attached to the report it came from, and leaves with you if you go.

Delete means delete

Remove a report and its extracted values go with it. Close your account and the whole record goes.

Questions

The things people ask first.

What is Aide?

Aide is an iPhone app that reads your blood test results and your Apple Health telemetry together. It extracts the biomarkers from a lab report, scores each one against both the laboratory reference interval and the tighter band published literature associates with better outcomes, and then reads those values against your heart-rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep, steps and active energy over the surrounding weeks.

What is the difference between a reference range and an optimal band?

A laboratory reference interval is built to catch disease, so it is deliberately wide — anything inside it is reported without comment. An optimal band is the narrower range that published literature associates with better outcomes. The two are not the same, and the gap between them is where most people sit. A ferritin of 21 ng/mL clears the lower bound of the reference interval and still falls well below the optimal band, so a standard report says nothing about it at all.

How do I get my lab results into the app?

Upload a lab PDF, photograph a printed report, or import a result straight from your inbox. Aide extracts every biomarker it recognises, converts the units to a canonical form regardless of which laboratory ran the test, and keeps each value attached to the report it came from.

Which biomarkers does Aide track?

31 biomarkers across iron, inflammation, metabolic, lipid, thyroid, vitamin, liver, kidney, hormone and blood-count panels — including ferritin, haemoglobin, transferrin saturation, hs-CRP, ESR, HbA1c, fasting glucose and insulin, total, LDL and HDL cholesterol, triglycerides, apolipoprotein B, TSH, free T3 and free T4, vitamin D, vitamin B12, folate, RBC magnesium, ALT, AST, GGT, creatinine, eGFR, uric acid, total testosterone, morning cortisol, white blood cells and platelets. Sex-specific intervals are applied where they differ.

What does it read from Apple Health?

Five streams: heart-rate variability, resting heart rate, sleep stages, steps and active energy. Access is read-only, nothing is written back to Apple Health, and you can revoke it from Settings at any time.

Is Aide a medical device?

No. Aide is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. The reference and optimal bands are population defaults drawn from published literature — they are not a diagnosis and they are not tailored to your history. Always discuss your results with a qualified clinician.

What happens to my health data?

Your records are never sold, shared or brokered — not to insurers, not to advertisers, not to anyone. Every extracted value stays attached to its source report and leaves with you if you export. Deleting a report deletes the values that came from it, and closing your account removes the whole record.
